How can I sign up for The Trusted Team?

There are two ways that you can sign up for the Trusted Team: via our website contact form or by calling our office.

Once you get in touch via email, we will send you an application form for our services. Upon receipt of the completed form, a member of our team will call you to confirm if your membership has been activated and talk you through some of the features and benefits of being a member. You will also have the opportunity to learn about our upcoming events and ask any questions you may have.

The other way to sign up is to call us on 01572 729 375. A member of our team will then ask you the same questions that you will find on our online form and manually set your membership up for you. You will also then be able to conduct your introductory call at the same time, or at a later date if you prefer.

What is included with my membership?

Membership to the Trusted Team includes all of the following:

  • 6 coaching workshops per year, delivered fact-to-face or virtually, if preferred.
  • Access to our network, including a private online platform where other members can contact each other, ask questions and make and receive client referrals.
  • VIP access to our events. Members receive first-refusal on all spaces for our events and are the first people contacted with our marketing. They also receive a members discount.
  • Digital and online resources, including white papers, articles, books, videos and printable resources to use within their practices, such as worksheets and templates.

Access to guest speakers and 1-2-1 coaching.

How can you pay for membership?

You can pay for membership either via credit or debit card, or by setting up a standing order.

If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, this can be done via our website or by calling the office on 01572 729 375.

For our entertainment events, such as golf days and trips away, a separate invoice will be issued in advance, which can be paid via BACS or by calling 01572 729 375.

What are your payment terms?

Membership payments are taken every month, either by debiting your payment card or through your standing order. We also offer a 30-day grace period on all membership payments, after which point an interest rate of 4% will be applied on a daily basis. Failure to pay for membership will be seen as cancellation being tendered, and your notice period of 90 days being activated from the first day after the 30-day grace period.

For events, payment is due within 30 days of the invoice being issued to you. Failure to pay for our entertainment events will mean that your place will not be reserved, and your reservation will be offered to other members or external parties. You will not be allowed to access our event if payment has not been received in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

Unless we agree otherwise, accepted applications will be subject to a minimum term of three months commencing on the date of acceptance as specified by us. After expiry of this initial term, the Contract shall automatically roll over for successive periods of three months, unless we have given you a notice of termination.

How do your workshops and coaching take place?

As we are a national business, we aim to be as inclusive as possible for all members by offering both in-person and digital services, workshops and events.

Trusted Team will provide services to professionals that include:

  • Face-to-face coaching (1:many). We look to cap in-person group sizes to 30, so that groups sessions are not over-crowded, and everyone has the opportunity to ask questions and participate. Workshops will be delivered in a hybrid format, so can be done both in person and online, to suit your requirements.
  • Personal mentorship (1:1). This will be an ongoing support service and may come in the form of a quarterly call or face-to-face meeting depending on who is coaching you and where they are based compared to your location.
  • High-level networking events in the form of golf days, race days and a 2-day, annual retreat, which will take place in person. There may also be some digital events, such as wine tasting, which will take place in a hybrid format (i.e. face-to-face and via video call).
  • Online and digital resources, such as books, white papers, blogs and podcasts.
How many workshops are there per year?

We look to host 6 coaching/workshop sessions per year and invite guest speakers on a range of specialities.

For our entertainment events, we aim to host these at least 2-3 times per year, for an additional fee, with a view to scaling this up over time in line with our members’ preferences.

Do I need to attend every workshop or event?

As a member, there is no requirement or obligation for you to attend every workshop or event, but we strongly encourage you to attend, either in person or online, as much as possible.

The Trusted Team focusses on continued learning and development, along with building strong and meaningful relationships with other members in our network. The more workshops and events you attend, the more you will get from your membership and receive the greatest benefit from our services.

How can I renew my membership?

Your membership is provided on a rolling basis so will be automatically renewed every 12 months. If you wish to cancel your membership, please see our cancellation policy above, or contact the office on hello@thetrusted.team or call 01572 729 375.

Can I invite a friend or colleague?

For our entertainment events, guests are more than welcome, and will be charged at the full rate per event. There is no cap on how many entertainment events your guest attends, but it is worth considering if a full membership may be more cost effective for them, as members receive VIP access and discounted rates on all of our events.

Do you have a referral scheme?

Yes, we do. Members will receive 10% off their membership per referral for a period of 12 months. This is not capped, so for every additional referral you make you will receive another 10% for 12 months.

As an example, if you refer 5 new members, you will receive 50% off your membership for a period of 12 months, and if you refer 12 people, your membership will be free for 12 months.

We take care to maintain high standards of service. Where we become aware of client concerns or unease we give priority to resolving the matter as quickly as possible and that your concerns are handled fairly and within reasonable timescales.

Upon receipt of a complaint, we will do all we can to resolve your concerns within three business days and confirm this to you in writing. If we can’t do this we will write to you, normally within five business days to acknowledge your complaint and to let you know when we expect to be able to issue a full response.

A senior person, who, where possible, is independent of the case, will investigate your complaint. You will be given their name and contact details.

Through our professional community, we are able to nurture a reciprocal client referral culture, and ignite and implement innovative and original ideas so that professional businesses can grow and excel in their sector.

Typically our members work in sectors such as law, accountancy, financial planning, property and land sales and development and private practice medicine; however, we do not limit membership based on industry sector.

The people who get the most from The Trusted Team tend to be people who work with high-net worth clients and businesses and provide a professional service or consultancy arrangement.

How is my data stored?

Your information is securely stored on our encrypted servers and within our secure back-office systems (Intelligent Office and Send In Blue). We keep Sensitive Personal Data for various period of time, depending on the strategies we have put in place and the various required retention periods dictated by the FCA. In the case of pure marketing data (i.e. where a prospect does not take u our services) data is deleted after a period of 3 months or sooner if requested. We will then dispose your information by fully deleting electronic files or data entries and confirming that these have been removed from our cloud storage, or having paper copies securely destroyed by our outsourced shredding company.
